Custom Sculpted RoboCop Helmet Replica

This was a commission for a friend who had a really amazing RoboCop costume but 2 helmets that didn't fit him. One was not good, and one was really nice but not a good fit. He had a lifecast taken for me to sculpt on and I got to work!

Because the jaw section goes under the helmet, i needed to cast the top first and use the casting for reference.

Painted! Great paint job done by Studio ADI (Amalgamated Dynamics) to match the rest of the costume (which was copied from one of the screen used stunt suits.)

The saddest part is melting down the clay sculpt, but no worries, this clay turns up in many more of my projects!

This is Sam's RoboCop spoof where you can see the whole costume. I think the helmet blends nicely!

Same RoboCop suit with this helmet used in Epic Rap Battles video. I wasn't on set for this one and whoever was suiting up RoboCop didn't do the helmet quite right. Still looks pretty good though.
